Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce is my recipe of the day trying to catch up on some recipe postings. I use this recipe in another I am posting tomorrow for Carolina Bird Dogs, so check back for that.

I am not usually a fan of honey mustard because I don’t like the sauces other places have to offer. Not so mysteriously, I am not sure what that means, but then again, I guess I do.
Obviously, I will readily eat this one but pass on any others. So if I get chicken strips as take-out, I will either use my own sauce or get something different.
I liked honey mustard a lot when it first seemed to be popular in the 80’s. But it did seem to be overused and I tired of it even then. It has taken a long time since then to work out a sauce I will use readily. Not that it was difficult to put together. It was just a long time coming. My beloved sweet and sour has made room for a new friend. And hot mustard can stay with crispy Asian appetizers.
