Cranberry Turkey Meatballs is my recipe of the day with Cranberry Week, a group blogging event that occurs once per year. I posted Apple Cranberry Cake earlier this week.

This recipe is a little different from the usual grape jelly type of meatballs. Instead, this one is sauced up more like Cranberry Chicken. That dish is prepared with chicken pieces and a sauce of soup mix, cranberry sauce, and Catalina dressing. Except in this case I used tomato soup.

Cranberry Turkey Meatballs
Equipment
- Slow Cooker or Crockpot
Ingredients
- 1 ounce package onion soup mix
- 14 ounce can whole berry cranberry sauce
- 10-3/4 ounce can condensed tomato soup
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 2-1/2 pounds frozen turkey meatballs thawed
Instructions
- Stir together the onion soup mix, cranberry sauce, tomato soup, honey, vinegar and meatballs in a slow cooker.
- Cover with the lid and cook on high for four hours, stirring occasionally.
- Serve as a appetizer or with rice for a main dish.
