Pumpkin Spice Pull-Apart Loaf
By Sue Lau | Palatable Pastime
Pumpkin Spice Pull-Apart Loaf is my recipe of the day with the Bread Bakers blogging group. We are doing “Tear and Share” recipes this month. I was going to do something else until remembering I still had a can of Pumpkin Spice cinnamon rolls in the fridge I needed to use up. So I decided to switch to that.
Not that it’s a problem. This stuff gets inhaled.
It’s essentially a monkey bread albeit this is the smaller half-size version. We won’t eat the full Bundt pan of monkey bread in one sitting so I downsized it and would rather make a fresh hot batch if I need another one.
This does use the Pumpkin Spice rolls which the can claims is “limited edition”. But I see they still have them in the stores. For how long is anyone’s guess, right? But no worries.
Switch hit to the regular Grands Cinnamon rolls if they disappear on you. These will still taste great and you can use either type. The pumpkin will still be in there.
Enjoy these for breakfast- the servings are supposed to be five but three people ate these, and they inhaled more than I did. If you have a tribe, double the batch and use the Bundt pan. Same baking time.

Caramel:
- 3/4 cup butter
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup canned pumpkin puree
- 3/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

- 1-1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375F.

- Dredge the roll pieces in the spiced sugar then drop a single layer into the loaf pan.
- Pour enough caramel to coat the outsides of the roll pieces.
- Finish with remaining dough pieces, pouring all the rest of the caramel over them.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes or until fully risen and cooked through.
- Remove pan from oven and let cool down for ten-fifteen minutes, then invert onto a platter, spooning any remaining caramel in the pans over the top.
- Drizzle icing from the roll package over the top while still warm.
