Ring Noodle Tuna Salad is my recipe of the day with the blogging group Alphabet Recipe Challenge. My offering is for the type of tuna noodle salad made in Minnesota using canned tuna, ring pasta (think spaghettios) and canned peas. It is really quite homey, delicious, and perfect for a picnic or packing in lunches. It even makes a great side dish for a potluck or gameday meal.

Ring Noodle Tuna Salad
Equipment
- 2 qt cooking pan
Ingredients
- 8 ounces uncooked anelli ring pasta
- 13 ounces canned water packed tuna drained
- 1 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
- 3/4 cup drained canned Le Seuer peas
- 2 ounce jar diced pimiento peppers
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/2 cup finely diced celery
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon celery seed
Instructions
- Cook macaroni according to package directions and drain.
- Mix with remaining ingredients and chill.

I don’t think I have ever seen ring pasta outside of canned spaghettios LOL. I will have to be on the lookout.

Ring noodles, how exciting.I don’ t I ever since these in the supermarket near me. Makes the salad look so pretty.
Nothing says comfort food like a tuna casserole. Now I need to hunt down ring noodles! I love the way they look. I bet kids love them.

Oh dear a typo! That’s two 6.5 ounce cans drained. I’ll fix the typo when I get home.
Ring noodles, a great one to name., and they look lovely in the salad I love this easy and delicious salad.
So yummy!!
They don’t sell thirteen oz tuna only twelve and that’s a lot of mayo for 12 oz.
I used two 6-1/2 ounce cans. If you need to adjust slightly, feel free to add more or less to your own taste.
