I chose a Swiss cheese spread which can easily be packed into a small bento box along with crackers, or spread on bread. And fruits such as apple slices or grapes. And perhaps a small cup of yogurt.
I have many times made similar Swiss cheese dips, sometimes with Jarlsberg. But in this case I just used a standard block of Swiss from Kroger stores. I pictured this with Ritz crackers, a childhood favorite. But for me, I like the Savory Sesame thins crackers from Trader Joe’s. However, use whichever cracker is perfect for you. Or spread on pita or toast.
Be sure to keep refrigerated or pack with a cold pack as this needs to remain chilled.

Good thing I don’t need to pack kids lunches anymore because I don’t think I would have any of this cheese spread left to share with them once I started snacking on it.
The spread sounds delicious Sue. I would love to spread this on some wraps for my kids.
Sue, thanks for sharing this recipe. Going to make this spread for my veg burgers, wraps and to use as a dip. What a versatile recipe and so easy to make.
