Creamy Macaroni Salad is my recipe of the day with the blogging group Sunday Funday. We get together once a week, taking turns hosting and suggesting topics.
Sneha would like us to share side dish recipes so your main dish doesn’t feel lonely. For me, that means a bowl of my best macaroni salad yet, using my recipe for homemade Marzetti slaw dressing.
Oh, I say “best” but I like them all. There are many many ways to make a macaroni salad.
In decades past, one of the easy ways to make cole slaw, mac salad or potato salad was to add Marzetti dressing as some or all of the dressing.
I have used my DIY Marzetti dressing in this, to add to the depth of flavor. It is very creamy and delicious, all without adding hard-cooked egg. Of course you can throw in egg if you like, but it’s not needed.
