Chocolate Chip Nutella Muffins are my recipe of the day with the Muffin Monday blogging group. We join upp on the last Monday of each month to post our latest and greatest muffin recipes.
This month was my “clean out the pantry” month and I decided to finish off some yummy Nutella spread, which is rich with chocolate hazelnut flavor.
To that I added a bunch of chocolate chips because you just can’t have too much chocolate, can you?
Sometimes I like to drizzle icing on muffins like these. But for this month, I wanted to keep the chocolate up front and center so left it off. You can choose how you like to finish yours. If you need instructions, scroll down tomy strawberry banana muffins to get an idea how to make a glaze.
It’s really just sifted powdered sugar with enough milk to get a drizzling consistency.
