Instant Pot Ranch Style Beans is my recipe of the day with the blogging group Multicooker Monday. We gather once per month on the third Monday to expand our collections of posted recipes using small kitchen appliances.
And this month I am happy to share my recipe for Instant Pot Ranch Style beans, a copycat recipe of the black label Texas favorite.
What are Ranch Style Beans?
Ranch style beans are pinto beans with a mild chili flavored sauce. They can be used in chili, incorporated into baked beans, or eaten just as is.
Instant Pots make cooking these up very easy work.
Healthier Ranch Style Beans
The Ranch style brand beans are very popular as a convenience item. But they may not be the most wholesome or healthy.
While canned beans can contain partially hydrogenated soybean oils that include trans fats, this home made version will not. And you can see every ingredient that goes into it.
These Ranch style beans contain dried pinto beans, Ranchera sauce, salsa, spices, beef broth and water. All very recognizable.
