Salmon Salad Spread makes lunches and picnic fare perfectly easy for salads, sandwiches or a cracker spread.
Salmon Salad Spread
By Sue Lau | Palatable Pastime
Salmon Salad Spread is my recipe of the day with the blogging group Fish Friday Foodies. We join forces once per month to share various seafood recipes on selected topics.
July is the month we are sharing picnic friendly recipes.
I chose salmon salad spread since it is both very easy and very retro. And picnics are sort of a retro thing, right?
This salad/spread is perfect on a bed of lettuce, or as an appetizer spread on crackers. Or even as a sandwich filling. I’d say that choice probably depends how hungry you are. And then again, if you are partaking bread and crackers or not.
If you take this on a picnic, please keep it chilled. It is not the kind of food you can keep off the ice. But since it doesn’t need heating, as long as you keep it cold it is perfect picnic food.
