I decided to grill up some pork using a simple marinade. This marinates for 6 hours or overnight. Then drained and grilled to about 142F, then rested until the temp rises to around 145F. You may see a little pink (like a medium steak) but it is perfectly cooked and will be nice and juicy. If you overcook, it will tend to be dry.
I like mine with steak sauce but you don’t have to. Really, pork is like beef in that salt and pepper plus the marinade will add plenty of flavor.

Grilled Pork Tenderloin with Beer Marinade
Equipment
- Grill
- grill spray (Webers)
- digital grill thermometer
Ingredients
- 1-3/4 pounds pork tenderloin
- 7 ounces lager beer
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 teaspoons dry mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 2 teaspoons onion powder
Instructions
- Place pork in marination bag or pan.
- Whisk together remaining ingredients and pour over pork forming an airtight seal.
- Marinate refrigerated, overnight.
- Drain pork and grill on oiled grill for about 10-15 minutes or until 145F and lightly charred.
- Rest ten minutes, then slice thinly.
- Serve with steak sauce if you prefer.
