Oven Barbecue Chicken is my recipe of the day. It uses one of my favorite and inexpensive things to cook- bone-in chicken pieces.
Now that autumn is here, and summer grilling season comes to a close, we don’t have to give up on having our favorite barbecue suppers. It is so easy to put together a simple oven baked barbecue, even with a made from scratch barbecue sauce.
Retro Baked BBQ Chicken
This is something my mom used to make a lot when I was growing up. She would grill as often as she could in summer. But our family loved it year round. So it was her solution for the winter months. Grilling up chicken was her favorite meat to grill.
Although she didn’t go so far as making her own sauces from scratch. That is something I picked up on my own and enjoy doing.
And besides being a really thrifty choice, cooking chicken on the bone also keeps it more moist and flavorful
