Slow Cooker Barbecue Green Beans add southern flavor to fresh tender string beans with ham and a spicy tomato sauce.
Slow Cooker Barbecue Green Beans
By Sue Lau | Palatable Pastime
Slow Cooker Barbecue Green Beans is my recipe of the day with the blogging group Multicooker Monday. We post recipes monthly that utilize various small appliances.
Among those are slow cookers, instant pots, pressure cookers, air fryers, toaster ovens and more.
These green beans are a very comfort food side dish for me. They are similar in character to many variations of country style green beans I cook.
I like the bit of savory barbecue sauce flavor in these. For the meat, I also used some double smoked ham in this, which adds a lot of good smoke flavor. I do my own recipe on the ham, and hope to get that recipe up before the weather turns cold.
Both recipes will be wonderful for cooler fall days when it is still nice enough out to turn the smoker on.
