Prosciutto Wrapped Dates with Almonds is my recipe of the day. This is a Spanish type tapas or pinxtos recipe to be served as nibbles with wine. Consider it a tapas variation of devils on horseback.

These are perfect for a quick party appetizer or nibble to have with wine. Combine it with a few other appetizers, as it makes a nice party spread.
Noor dates are large and should be pitted. The almonds are from Trader Joe’s and seasoned with rosemary. Use whichever thin ham you have, either prosciutto or serrano ham. As long as it can wrap the date.
Use an oven on this with if you need, with a slightly lower temp, maybe 375F. You can tell as the color darkens that they are almost done.
I do recommend the nonstick foil or parchment as the honey may stick to the pan.
