Broccoli and Cauliflower Salad combines two favorite vegetables in a festive and classic marinated raw salad with lots of fruity crunch.
Broccoli and Cauliflower Salad
By Sue Lau | Palatable Pastime
Broccoli and Cauliflower Salad is my recipe of the day with the blogging group Sunday Funday. We get together once per week to share recipes on assorted topics. This week we are posting recipes for healthy salads.
One of my recent favorites is this version of broccoli salad which also includes cauliflower. I have dressed it up with lots of fruity craisins and grapes.
You get lots of crunch as well from both walnuts and pepitas. And it just wouldn’t be perfect without a bit of bacon and cheese, don’t you think?
I’m thinking this one does double duty as either a festive holiday salad for the dinner table or just something you make ahead to have packed in lunches. Either way you can’t go wrong.

Occasionally I add cauliflower to a salad but have not really thought of using raw broccoli. Have to try a broccoli salad and with some cheese, I totally cannot refuse that.
